Adobe After Effects is primarily used for creating motion graphics and visual effects. After Effects allows users to animate, alter and composite media in 2D and 3D space with various built-in tools and third party plug-ins, as well as individual attention to variables like parallax and user-adjustable angle of observation. See the Wiki definition
Project files are CS6 Version & above. Note that After Effects files are always backwards-compatible, meaning that you can open a CS6 file in AE CC. but not the contrary
Basically both regular & extended license covers a single use per client or application, in one single end product.
Regular version should be use for personal or by the client directly. Concrete example, you’re a freelancer, you need a cool video showcase to presents your service, you know a bit of after effect, you acquired the file for your own use then regular license is fine. Same thing for a client that has an in-house communication service, until it’s for your own use, regular license applies.
Now, the video showcase you’re editing is intended for a client which is charged for the work, then you need to get extended license. For each client you’re selling the video service, you need to acquire the appropriate usage license.
For both license regular & extended = 1 single use per client or application
Regular = for your own use can be personal or commercial, in one single end product where the end user is not charged for
Extended = Freelance & agency selling to client, in one single end product where the end user is charged for

After Effects projects usually link to some external assets, whether these be still images, video, audio and so on. When you download one of my projects (or any After Effects project for that matter) it’s very important to keep the project itself and any associated folders together in the same place. Unless you really know what you’re doing, you shouldn’t move any of the folders or files from the original folder which they unzip to.
Highlight the project window.
(CS3) Highlight the project window. Choose File -> Find. In the window that comes up, check the missing footage checkbox and click OK.
(CS4 and above) Navigate to the Project Window (Cmd-0 (Mac) or Ctrl -0 (PC)) and type missing into the search field (by the little magnifying glass near the top)
